Alicia Asin, CEO and co-founder of open-source sensor platform Libelium, will join a panel discussion on “Tales from the Trenches: Real-world examples of IoT successes (and failures)” as part of the Internet of Things Engineering Summit at EE Live! 2014.
Coming this March 31 to the San Jose McEnery Convention Center, EE Live! 2014 is a four-day conference featuring industry experts and pioneers in the electronics design engineering field. The event will feature several focused programs, including the IoT Engineering Summit, which runs April 2 – 3 and offers nearly a dozen educational talks on one of the biggest changes impacting electronics design engineers today.
Libelium is best known for creating Waspmote, an open-source sensor platform to power the IoT via a network of solution providers and vendor partners. Asin will join Vigilent’s president and CTO Clifford Federspiel, Streetline’s CTO Mark Noworoloski, and Intel-GE Care Innovations’ Director of Systems Engineering Stan Telson on April 3, 10:45 – 11:45AM at Marriott Salon 1, to share “Tales from the Trenches: Real-world examples of IoT successes (and failures).”
Asin is a computer engineer focused on how IoT can change our world, starting with Smart Cities and smart agriculture. She is a frequent speaker at international conferences on issues related to Smart Cities, wireless sensor networks, and IoT.
