When EE Live! 2014 kicks off at San Jose in three months, the conference will host the two-day Internet of Things Engineering Summit — just one of several key programs featured at the event, like the Android Engineering Boot Camp and the Embedded Systems Conference. Early and discounted registration is open right now for both EE Live! and its individual programs.
Taking place March 31-April 3, 2014 (Free Expo on April 1-3), EE Live! will return to the McEnery Convention Center. The conference was created by engineers for engineers, allowing attendees to learn about the latest technologies and trends, pick up new skills, and network with their peers. Next year’s event promises to deliver dozens of informative panels, workshops, and keynote presentations about engineering design.
EE Live!’s Internet of Things (IoT) segment will run from April 2-3, and will follow the entire conference’s focus on embedded. Attendees will be able to learn from experts and practitioners about opportunities and challenges in connecting embedded systems to the cloud — from end nodes and gateways, networking strategies, operating systems, and middleware stacks, to the latest trends in security, sensors, and business models.
The summit’s sessions will feature discussions on best management and technical practices for engineering an IoT product, building distributed nano-satellite architecture, reviewing real-world examples of IoT successes and failures, and much more. You can preview the planned IoT Engineering Summit presentations, along with all of the other EE Live! sessions announced so far, at the conference’s Schedule Builder on the official site.
You can take advantage of discounted Early Bird prices for the IoT Engineering Summit and EE Live! when you purchase a pass before January 10, saving as much as $300 when you register for an All Access Pass. You can also follow updates about EE Live!’s other programs, sessions, and announcements on the conference’s social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Google+.
